What is it to be a member of Tevfik Fikret?

University, Graduate education:
One of the advantages of being a member of Tevfik Fikret is to have more options for graduate education compared with the people who will also take the University Entrance Exam. Because the members of Tevfik Fikret have a chance to study abroad and have guarantee to study at home. They have opportunity to study inside and outside Turkey.

Opportunities in Turkey:
As is known, there is a university in our country called “Galatasaray University” which is French-based, which has the same program with some French universities and which cooperates with the universities abroad. To get into this university, the students have to be successful with a high grade in the University Entrance Exam.
The students of Tevfik Fikret have the chance to take education at Galatasaray University by taking its original exam. This exam is only for the French-based schools. When our students start the 12th grade, they start to be prepared for the exam. The students are able to start their university life by taking this exam and compared with University Entrance Exam, they compete with very few people. Our school prepares the lesson programs, objectives of the lessons and the schedules regarding this exam.

 Opportunities abroad:
The diploma of our school is accepted as the bachelor’s degree in France which means that our students are able to study in France during their university life. If they get graduated from one of the French Universities, their degree will be accepted in Turkey as those universities have equality with the universities in Turkey. In these universities our students don’t pay but the fee changes from department to department at universities. The charges, the accommodation, traveling fees should be paid by the students. After the French Embassy declares the applying dates, the conditions and the things to be done; our school informs our students and guides them.

Master’s Degree and Winning a scholar ship:
The students, who finished their graduate education in Turkey, have the opportunity to study in France for a master’s degree winning a scholar ship. To win a scholar ship, they have to take some exams. First, the students search for the universities and they take information about them. They take information about the conditions, and then they make their decision, correspond with the schools and wait to be accepted. If they are accepted the embassy guides the students, after the procedure was done, the students who want to go to France for a master’s degree, have to be successful in front of the jury.
